In this assignment I took pictures of my moms slippers and put them in a white background so they are all equal in size and shape.

In this assignment we had to make a collage of us in the future and us now. We had to take multiple pictures and blend them together to create one picture with multiple pictures in side of it. I learned from this assignment that pictures of the internet are very pixelated in photoshop and don't make for the best composite picture and seeming how I don't have any pictures of my future I had to deal with the pixelation.
In this assignment I chose to take photos of still life. I stacked apples on top of each other to get the still life effect instead of the topic being food. I wanted to take the photos outside because the lighting was better. ISO: 100 Aperture: f/7.1 Shutter Speed: 1/160 Edit: Framing/crop In this assignment I learned that Placing the apples on top of each other would show the still life of the photo. I placed the apples to one side of the photo to show the rule of thirds effect in the photo. I chopped it down in photoshop using crop to give the image better size.
For this assignment we had to take multiple photos of the same thing and then blend them together and adjust it as yo see fit. In this assignment I took multiple pictures of the same thing and then merged then to HDR. How I did this was take one picture under exposed, one over exposed, and one with the correct exposer to add more depth to the photo and show both the shadows and highlights.
For this assignment I took pictures of my dog. It was bright outside so there is no digital noise, but it was hard to get my dog to sit still because I was shooting alone. Aperture: f/5.0 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/125 Edit: Vibrance and frame. I liked shooting this assignment because I got to go outside and play with the dog. It was a fun way to interact with the subject to try and make the pictures better. I tried to get pictures of my dog running around so I could get a freeze action shot but my dog was to tired to play catch.
In this assignment I took pictures of nature, there fas ice all over my deck and trees so it created a nice glossy image. I tried to use a small f-stop to create a large depth of field. Edited with frame: Aperture: f/5.0 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/80 I learned in this assignment to create a gallery frame in my best photos to make them look cleaner and more sharp. Taking these photos were fun because I could zoom in on the Ice.
In this assignment we had to take three off campus panos and 2 on campus pictures. A pano is a group of pictures merged together so I take the pictures then put them into photoshop to create. Below are my Pano pictures. I learned that using tripods are very important when creating a pano. Taking them at home with no tripod was difficult but it is still manageable.
For this assignment I had to experiment with different frames and learn how to make them in photoshop. Below are some examples of each. Gaussian: Gallery: Spray: Lasso: I learned in this assignment how to make these different frames using different tools in photoshop. My favorite was the sprayed because I found out about all of the new filters.
For this weeks photo we had to take on color. I tried to make the background bland and then put a colorful prop in the image. Aperture: f/3.5 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/50 No edit. While taking these photos I had to look at what I was taking pictures of with detail so the picture didn't have to many bright colors. This taught me to look at pictures in different angles.
For this assignment I had to take pictures of motion blur, freeze motion, and chrono motion. They are all different ways to view motion in different perspectives. Below are the examples of all the types of motion I just listed above. Motion Blur Chrono Motion Freeze Motion While taking these photos I learned that you have follow you subject while it is moving to get the blur in the background while keeping you subject in focus. Also I learned more about setting up the shutter in manual mode and getting the right exposer.
